This summary has been prepared to introduce the aims and objectives of services provided by Waterfield Supported Homes (WSH) Ltd. The prospectus seeks to offer information to service users, organisations, agencies and significant others, who are interested in using our services. Working in conjunction with other professionals, we offer residential social care services to people with mental health issues as a step down from inpatient care or after undergoing in-patient treatment and rehabilitation. We also offer residential supported living services to individuals with learning disability and mental health issues who wish to be supported to be as independent as possible. Services will be provided by a team of trained nurses, support workers and other mental health professionals, in collaboration with the local community mental health team (CMHT), and the Primary Care Trust services. We liaise with the Department of Health, Care Quality Commission (CQC), Mental Health Trusts, and Local Authority, Social Services as well as many other agencies. We will comply with all statutory requirements of all regulatory bodies such as the CQC, local authority planning guidelines, Health and safety Law, Fire and Building regulations, and take out relevant public liability, employers’ liability, building and contents insurance. All these will be in place prior to any service user occupation of the premises. The home may be subject to a closure on the outcome of any scheduled and or unscheduled inspection found to be unsatisfactory and or not meeting the expected standard by the CQC. We will maintain a high organisational, managerial and professional standard with good financial and budgeting control, resulting in a cost-effective client centred professional service.
