Our accommodation and rehabilitation services are designed to provide a secure and therapeutic environment (in collaboration with professional support), to promote their social skills and independence. We hope to achieve these by working collaboratively with our clients, staff and statutory bodies.
MAIN GOALS
We assist in relieving people’s distress of mental illness, through the implementation of aftercare programmes designed to reduce relapse risks and by acquiring sustainable living skills after in-patient treatment. We achieve these, through effective medication management, healthy lifestyle, motivational intervention, psycho-educational approach on illness awareness, and by improving social functioning through community participation. We hope to achieve full rehabilitation and integration in the community by liaising with all statutory agencies and by operating a referral system that involves these agencies.
The success of this service provision cannot be mentioned without the input of our members of staff. We will promote appropriate ongoing internal and external training and expertise for our staff so that they can provide good quality service in a professional and ethical manner.
Waterfield Supported Homes Limited (WSH) is committed to achieving these goals through liaison with the Department of Health, Care Quality Commission (CQC), Mental Health Trusts, Community Mental Health Teams, Local Authority and Social Services as well as voluntary agencies. We comply with all statutory requirements of all regulatory bodies such as the CQC, local authority planning guidelines, Health and safety Law, Fire and food hygiene, Building regulations, and take out relevant public and employers’ liability, building and contents insurance. All these will be in place prior to any service user occupation of our premises. Please contact me for further information.
