Waterfield Supported Homes Ltd aims to promote an all-embracing holistic approach, non-discriminating and non-stigmatising attitude to the management of individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues (including Dementia), who are discharged from psychiatric hospitals, specialist or from medium secure hospital (Units) and on this basis, provide a quality residential and aftercare service. We aim to provide value for money services, open to all regardless of gender, race, disability, colour, ethnic and national origin, sexual orientation, marital status, political or religious belief, trade union activity. We will endeavour to,
- Assist in relieving people of the distress of their condition or illness, such as mental, emotional and physical stresses which may be related to their mental health issues.
- Provide support for learning disability and mental health rehabilitation especially social care support and attention to such persons.
- Provide a safe non-stigmatising environment in which to provide Secondary Care for people leaving Primary care facilities.
- Provide a safe alcohol and illicit substances free environment for men and women above the age of 18 that wish to live in this environment.
- Liaise with all statutory agencies to bring about such, rehabilitation, care and attention.
- Implement aftercare programmes to reduce relapse risk and to assist with acquiring sustainable living skills after in-patient treatment, through effective medication management, healthy lifestyle, motivational intervention, psycho-educational approach on illness awareness, and improving social functioning through community participation.

- Operate a referral system that involves other agencies, who could assist our clients and foster their well-being.
- Promote appropriate ongoing internal and external training and expertise for our staff so that they could provide good quality service in a professional and ethical manner. We also ensure that staff ethics and training are constantly upgraded to enhance service delivery and the individual professional development.
Implement staff supervision and appraisal schedules as a pre-requisite for continued employment.
